JOB TITLE: Assistant Facility Manager

DIVISION/LOCATION: Salt Lake City,Utah

SALARY: $70,000 annually

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic Function:  Assisting in theday-to-day management of the all-Valet locations ensuring that parkingoperations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location,fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approachto the business.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities: 

• Participate in programs to improveclient and customer satisfaction

• Engage in the development ofproperty level financial and operational goals in the Valet revenue system CVPS

• Assist in the management ofday-to-day activities of the assigned locations including:  ensuringappropriate customer interaction, supervising the completion of all shiftclosing reports making sure all tickets match the printed documentation, processingbank deposits before mid-night, scheduling staff with peers, supervisingfrontline staff (e.g. Valet cashiers, valet attendants, Valet Leads, etc.),auditing daily cashier shift reports, monitoring and checking of time in PrismClock System, hiring and training of frontline staff, completing and reviewingof damage claims, and disbursing petty Cash

• Courteously assist Customers byanswering any questions they may have

• Assist in the maintenance and repairof parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by theFacility Manager

• Report any known accidents, observedor suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusualoccurrence to the Facility Manager 

• Assist with cleanup of debris,water, oil spills and etc.

• Have a thorough knowledge of allareas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks andfreeways in the area of the garage.

• Assist Facility Manager with otherduties as needed, Be ready to assist in all areas if needed, AFM for allattitude

Education/Experience Required:Associates Preferred, High School Graduate required. A minimum of six months ofparking experience preferred, however willing to train.  Leadershipabilities required.

Availability to Work:  Specialshift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiringneeds.  If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/orweek-ends may be required.

License Requirement:  Mustpossess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address andacceptable driving record.

Written Communication: Writes clearlyand informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.

While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handlecash and equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb orbalance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
