Full Time Dispatcher-Overnight (Saturday - Wednesday Only )

The starting pay for this position is $18.00 an hour + 2$ shift Differential. This is a Full-Time position.

The dispatcher strategically creates schedules and coordinates which technicians go out to which job sites.  The dispatcher keeps records and maintains logs for technician vehicles and equipment. When someone calls for a technician on an emergency basis, the dispatcher will determine which technician to send.

Essential Functions:

  • Position Shift:  Saturday - Wednesday, 11p to 7a.  
  • Maintains responsibility for dispatching all of the company’s technicians in a manner that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction. 
  • Answers in-bound calls from customers and assesses their needs.
  • Schedules and dispatches technicians to customer’s homes or businesses.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to customers at all times.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Performs office clerical work, such as filing and organizing.
  • Works as a team player and contributes to the team accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience as dispatcher is a plus. 
  • General computer literacy.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for customer service.
  • Must be efficient with strong attention to detail.
  • Must have strong customer support orientation.
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment.
